Who I am
This site belongs to Shaznan Fairoze, an independent web developer based in Colombo, Sri Lanka. I am responsible for the personal data collected here. You can reach me at the email address in the footer.
What I collect, and why
When you send the audit form, I receive your name, email address, website address and your answers. I use them only to reply to you and to prepare your audit. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a possible agreement.
If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics records which pages you visit, roughly where you are and what device you use. I use this to see which pages help people. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time through "Cookie settings" in the footer.
The hosting provider keeps short-lived server logs, including IP addresses, to keep the site running and secure.
Who else handles it
Vercel hosts the site. Form messages are delivered by email through Resend. Google provides Analytics and Tag Manager, only after you consent. These providers process data on my behalf and may store it outside the European Economic Area under the safeguards required by the GDPR.
I never sell your data or share it for advertising.
How long I keep it
Enquiries are kept for up to 2 years, or longer if we work together and the information is needed for invoices. Analytics data is kept for 14 months.
Cookies
Without your consent, this site sets no tracking cookies. It stores your cookie choice in your browser so it doesn’t ask again. If you accept analytics, Google Analytics sets the _ga cookies.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to how it is used. Email me and I will respond within 30 days. If you’re unhappy with how I handle your data, you can complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
