I'm Shaznan Fairoze, a webmaster from Colombo, Sri Lanka.
I started in business, not code: a business management degree from the University of Greenwich and time as an investment advisor. That taught me most decisions come down to whether the numbers are clear.
In 2019 I moved into web development: WordPress sites for startups at a Colombo agency, then React and React Native apps, then 4 years as the frontend engineer for a Netherlands-based tech company. There I worked on speed, tracking, multilingual sites and the editing tools marketers use every day.
Now I take on independent clients, mainly small and mid-sized businesses in the Netherlands. I'm starting small on purpose: launch pricing, a few projects at a time, and nothing promised that I can't measure.
